Hi, I'm Ricky.

I'm a photographer based in Ruislip, West London, specialising in people — whether they're getting married, chasing a football, building a business or trying to get three children to look vaguely in the same direction.

What draws me to photography isn't perfection.

It's moments.

The expression that disappears a second later. The laugh you weren't expecting. The celebration after a goal. The interaction happening at the other side of the room while everyone is looking somewhere else.

That's why my photography tends to be relaxed and candid.

I'll give you direction when you need it, but I'm equally happy disappearing into the background and letting things happen naturally.

I'm currently building Ricky McGowan Photography around weddings, families, sport and businesses across West London and beyond.

And if you're someone who normally says "I hate having my photo taken", we'll probably get along just fine.
